Registration for the 2010 Fresno SCCA Autocross / Drift Driving School is now open.

Registration will fill FAST and is limited to 40 drivers per day.
New for 2010, there are two separate instruction groups: autocross and drift. Autocross will be similar to the classes held in the past, focusing on car control. Drift will teach the basics of the driving style known as drifting. Cars should be RWD and drivers should have an understanding of drift style driving. Saturday February 27th will be drift instruction and Sunday February 28th will be autocross instruction. Dramatically improve your ability to control your car! Learn on an autocross course from experienced instructors about the limits of adhesion, braking, and handling under diverse and challenging conditions. Receive One on One in-car instruction. Sharpen your driving skills! Autocross is a timed contest of driving skill. Speeds and hazards to spectators, participants, and property do not exceed those found in normal, legal highway driving. We think it is much more fun than street driving and you can't get a speeding ticket! SCCA solo racing is an inexpensive, safe way to experience racing. It helps you discover your car's capabilities and limitations, making you a better, safer driver on the road and it develops your own driving ability. Many would-be race drivers use it as a jump point into the sport of road racing. But probably the greatest thrill of autocross is the challenge of beating your own time. It's fun!
